Dr. Arinda Muntean

Veterinarian

Arinda’s affinity for animals began in her early years, nurtured by her parents, brother, and the companionship of her cherished Shih Tzu, Betsy, and budgie named Lucky. She often found herself immersed in their care and, in the process, discovered her lifelong passion for animals and medicine.

Arinda’s academic journey led her to the University of Toronto, where she pursued a dual major in Neuroscience and Environmental Biology. Throughout her undergraduate years, she balanced her studies with her work at animal hospitals, wildlife and shelter settings, gaining invaluable experience in veterinary care. This combination of academic excellence and practical experience laid the foundation for her future career. Arinda then pursued a degree in veterinary medicine and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2023. During her final year of clinical rotations, she developed interests in preventative medicine, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

Originally having grown up in North York, Arinda is excited to begin her career as a small animal veterinarian back in Toronto. In her spare time, Arinda enjoys biking the various network of trails in the city, trying new recipes inspired by her latest foodie outing, playing board games with friends and family and relaxing with her family dog, an American Cocker Spaniel named Jasper.
