Alessandra's connection to animals began long before her career in veterinary medicine. Growing up in Vaughan in a home filled with rescued cats and dogs, she developed a natural bond with animals and a deep appreciation for the joy and comfort they bring to their families.
In 2024, after the loss of her beloved cat Chandler, Alessandra made the life-changing decision to transition from a career in marketing and business management into veterinary medicine. Inspired by the compassion and care Chandler received throughout his life, she found her passion in supporting veterinary teams and helping create exceptional experiences for both pets and their owners.
Drawing on her background in marketing, operations, and management, Alessandra is dedicated to ensuring the clinic runs efficiently while keeping patient care and client relationships at the heart of every decision. She is thrilled to be part of the talented team at Leslieville Animal Hospital and to support the pets and families of the Leslieville community.
Outside of the clinic, Alessandra enjoys spending her winters curled up with her kindle and her summers tending to her vegetable garden (especially her collection of hot peppers) and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Most of all, she loves car rides with her miniature schnauzer, Albert, and her orange kitten, Parmiggiano "Gino".
